Comprehensive Evaluation of the Residents'Well-being in Tourism Destinations Based on Perception of Tourism Impact
The sustained improvement of the residents'well-being in tourist destinations is the key to the sustainable development of tourism industry in ethnic regions.Taking the scenic spot of Bafang 13 Alleys Folk Houses in Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture as a case study,this paper explores the impact of tourism development on the well-being of local residents from the perspective of tourism impact perception.The following conclusions were drawn:there is a significant difference in the level of residents'well-being;from the perspective of tourism impact perception,residents have the highest perception of the tourism economic impact brought by tourism development,while their perception of the impact on the tourism environment and tourism culture is lower than the overall perceived mean;there is a significant difference in the evaluation of the impact of tourism development on the residents'well-being.The evaluation value of the impact of tourism economy on the residents'well-being is the highest,while the evaluation value of the impact of tourism environment on the residents'well-being is the same as the overall evaluation value.However,the evaluation value of the impact of tourism culture on the residents'well-being is lower than the overall evaluation value.Based on this,we should pay attention to the protection and development of local traditional cultural connotation,improve the distribution mechanism of tourism revenue,and enhance the scientific management level of scenic spots,so as to achieve a win-win situation between the continuous improvement of the residents'well-being in tourism destinations and the sustainable development of tourism in ethnic areas.
