A Study on the Style and Characteristics of Guozhuang Dance in Tibetan Areas of Gansu Province
Guozhuang Dance is a Tuanluan dance that embodies the aesthetic ideas of the Tibetan ethnic group,consisting of thirteen dance steps and nine types of gesture movements.Shaking,opening,smoothing,left-turning,circling and sleeve-waving are the six movement characteristics of Guozhuang Dance.Walking and jumping are the main forms of movement.Circles or concentric circles,arcs and straight lines are the main formations.The dance music mainly uses Tibetan folk songs and dance music with distinct regional characteristics,and is divided into slow and peaceful slow tempo sections and lively and unrestrained fast tempo sections.Guozhuang Dance is divided into four segments:prologue dance,slow dance,fast dance,and the end.The clothing is bright and luxurious,mainly Tibetan-style robes and shirts.Male dancers'movements are big and bold,female dancers'movements are small and beautiful.In Luqu County,Guozhuang Dance draws on the strengths of others and has enjoyed a long reputation;in Maqu grassland,it is rough and uninhibited;around Xiahe temples,it is solemn and reverent;around the forest in Diebu and Zhouqu,it is small and lively;in the mountainous areas of Longnan and Tianzhu,it is dignified and beautiful.
