Red culture is an advanced culture formed by the Chinese people under the leadership of the CPC to strive for national independence,national prosperity and people's happiness,which provides fresh cases and vivid materials for ideological and political education in colleges and universities.In the information age,WeChat,Weibo,Tiktok and other micro media platforms have opened up new ways for the integration of red culture into ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Universities should combine the characteristics of college students in the new era,enhance the awareness of ideological and political course teachers to utilize micro media resources,develop red cultural resources,and enrich the teaching content of ideological and political courses;by leveraging the"educational platform"of micro media,we aim to promote red culture and create a positive educational atmosphere;utilize micro media platform resources to conduct online teaching on red culture and deepen students'understanding of red culture;organize practical activities on the theme of red culture,inherit the red genes,enhance students'patriotism,and promote the deep integration of red culture and ideological and political education.
