Reflection on the Relationship between Science and Art through the Influence of the"Dark Box"on Vermeer Painting
In the 17th century,Dutch painting presented a close connection between art and science,and artists used scientific methods to create their own art.Especially the painter Vermeer's paintings can better reflect this trend,and contemporary researchers have conducted relevant experiments in an attempt to restore this special artistic expression process.This article attempts to further ponder on the basis of previous researchers.As a scientific instrument,the"dark box"has brought profound influence to the painting style of Dutch artists,while revealing the inherent connection between science and art in the development process of art history.
