Microstructure and properties of TiNbVMo-(Zr,Cr)refractory high entropy alloys for nuclear application
Three novel ductile and single-phase BCC structure refractory high-entropy alloys(RHEAs)Ti40Nb25V15Mo5Zr15,Ti40Nb30V20Mo5Zr5 and Ti40Nb30V20Mo5Cr5 were developed, and the alloy, exhibit good strength and toughness at room temperature, the alloy Ti40Nb25V15Mo5Zr15 has a maximum tensile strength of 1 037 MPa.With the decrease of Zr content, the fracture elongation of Ti40Nb30V20Mo5Zr5 in-creases from 8.94%to 13.96%.A single layer of corrosion diffusion is only formed after a static lead-bis-muth saturated oxygen corrosion test to Ti40Nb30V20Mo5Cr5 at 450 ℃ for 100,300,and 700 h.The thick-ness of the corrosion layer dno't change significantly with time.
