The research analyzes the current state of the biomedical industry in Gansu Province,and constructs an indicator system from five dimensions:innovation subject,capital investment,innovative talent,innovation achievement,and innovation benefit.The evaluative analysis reveals a significant growth trend in the innovative com-petitiveness of the biomedical industry in Gansu Province from 2019 to 2021,indicating a need to focus on enhanc-ing the benefits and outcomes of industry innovation.Furthermore,subdivide the upper,middle and lower reaches of the industrial chain into ten industrial fields,construct an indicator system from three dimensions of innovation re-sources,innovation output,and the innovation environment,and combine qualitative and quantitative evaluative anal-ysis of the innovation energy level in each industrial field.The results indicate that the fields of Chinese(Tibetan)medicine,diagnostic and treatment equipment,and veterinary biological products need strong chains.Biopharmaceu-tical materials,raw materials for Chinese(Tibetan)medicine,human biological products and other six industrial ar-eas need to extend the chain,while the pharmaceutical equipment field requires supplementation.Finally,strategic recommendations are proposed for the integrated development of both the industry and innovation chains.
