Based on the concept of regional coordinated development,this article analyzes the development ba-sis,economic structure and development characteristics of Jiuquan and Jiayuguan region with the combination of macro and micro methods on the basis of combing the integrated development process of Jiuquan and Jiayuguan re-gion.This paper summarizes the latest practical achievements of promoting the construction of the double-city eco-nomic circle in Jiuquan and Jiayuguan region,and analyzes the existing problems in the construction of the double-city economic circle from the perspective of regional coordinated development.Finally,it puts forward new ideas to accelerate the construction of the double-city economic circle in the aspects of collaborative construction of modern industrial system,exploration of establishing a new regional cooperation mechanism,and upgrading the double-city economy to a higher regional level.
