For bridge engineering, the durability of prestressed concrete is an important determinant of structur-al life. The cold and damp region has low temperature and large temperature difference between day and night. In re-cent years,a large number of engineering practices have shown that in the harsh natural environment of the region, the beam and plate of the bridge concrete project are affected by freeze-thaw damage, and the concrete surface will expand and shrink, weathering and denudation, and even produce cracks. Some cracks continue to extend and ex-pand under the adverse environment, climatic conditions and loads, weakening the stiffness and strength of the beam and slab, and reducing the durability of the beam and slab.Serious and even collapse will occur, affecting the safety of later operation.Through a bridge project in Gannan,Gansu Province, combined with the construction expe-rience of similar projects, from the construction of the actual starting point, this paper researches and analyzes the causes of cracks in concrete girder slabs in cold and humid areas, and puts forward the corresponding measures to provide reference for the development of related work.
