The Application of Comprehensive Evaluation Method in Measuring Common Prosperity:Take Gansu Province as an Example
Common prosperity is an essential requirement of socialism and in the process of achieving this goal,it is highly necessary to objectively and accurately evaluate the realization of common prosperity with quantitative analysis methods.Taking into account the social and economic development characteristics of Gansu Province,it is crucial to establish a relatively complete system of indicators to measure common prosperity and utilize scientific evaluation methods to monitor the level of common prosperity in Gansu Province in recent years.This can help iden-tify development trends,pinpoint key influencing factors,and provide a decision-making basis for comprehensively achieving common prosperity.This paper discusses the characteristics of major comprehensive evaluation methods such as entropy weight method and TOPSIS method.On the basis of establishing a comprehensive evaluation index system,the entropy weight TOPSIS method was chosen to comprehensively evaluate the level of common prosperity in Gansu Province from 2016 to 2022.The comprehensive evaluation results show that the level of common prosperi-ty in Gansu Province has been continuously improving during this period,with an ongoing enhancement in people's living standards and a narrowing urban-rural income gap,demonstrating a certain degree of resilience in achieving common prosperity.However,the study also found that there are certain limiting factors affecting Gansu Province's high-quality advancement of common prosperity,such as labor force outflow and some traditional consumption atti-tudes.Therefore,a deeper understanding of the connotation of common prosperity is needed.
