The Application of High Polymer Grouting in the Treatment of an Expressways Asphalt Pavement Slurry Damage
Asphalt concrete pavement slurry damage and reflection of base cracking to pavement layer are common diseases in expressway maintenance.The conventional methods such as milling and resurfacing are time-consuming and labor-consuming,which increase the cost and have a great impact on the traffic of expressway vehi-cles.The paper analyzes the causes of pavement slurry damage,and briefly introduces the technical principle of high-polymer-grouting,material performance index and construction technology.Combined with the engineering example,it is proved that the high polymer grouting technology can effectively fill the pavement and base cracking,local micro-voids and quickly restore the function of the pavement structure layer,it is an economical and efficient technical means to treat the disease of slurry damage.It has important application significance for prolonging the service life of expressway and reducing the hidden danger of driving safety.
