Research on New Urbanization Development Measurement of Lanzhou City:Based on the Comparative Perspective of the Capital Cities of Ten Western Provinces
The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to carry out the new urbanization strategy deeply and promote the new urbanization centered on people.Based on the constructed in-dex system for measuring the development level of new-type urbanization,this paper uses the entropy method to de-termine the weight,and calculates and comprehensively analyzes the development level of new-type urbanization of Lanzhou and other 9 western provincial capitals in 2022.The study found:The overall level of new-type urbaniza-tion in Lanzhou ranks relatively low among provincial capitals in western China,and relatively high in population development and residents'quality of life.The main reasons for Lanzhou's backward ranking are the uncoordinated development of urban and rural areas,the slow development of urban and rural integration,the lack of endogenous impetus and vitality of economic development,and the level of urban and rural infrastructure construction to be im-proved.
