This paper aims to explore the current status and strategies of patent protection for Chinese enterpris-es in Russia,in order to address the intellectual property challenges arising from cooperation between the two coun-tries.By analyzing the history and development of Russia's intellectual property legal environment,the paper re-veals the main differences between Chinese and Russian patent systems and discusses the increasing trend of Chi-nese enterprises'patent applications in Russia and the political,economic,and legal challenges they face.The re-search results show that although the number of patent applications by Chinese enterprises in Russia is on the rise,the complex legal environment and uncertainties in the international situation require enterprises to strengthen legal research,develop response strategies,and enhance the construction of intellectual property professional talent teams.This paper suggests that enterprises should gain an in-depth understanding of Russia's legal system,cooper-ate with local legal institutions,to protect their patent rights in Russia,thereby promoting the in-depth development of Sino-Russian scientific and technological cooperation.
