A new red muscat flavor table grape cultivar ‘ Ruidu Hongmei’
‘Ruidu Hongmei’ is a new grape cultivar released by Beijing Institute of Forestry and Pomology Sciences,this paper introduced its breeding process,main characteristics and cultivated techniques.It was selected from a cross-combination of ‘Jingxiu’ × ‘Xiangfei’.It ripens in mid to late August in Beijing.Its cluster is conical and the compactness is moderate.The average weight of a single berry is 6.6 grams.For the skin color is reddish purple.For the flesh,it is firm and crispy.The flavor is sweet with muscat flavor when the fruit is well ripened.The total soluble solids is 17.2%.The yield is around 30 t·hm-2.
