‘美红’是以‘红地球’为母本,‘6-12’为父本,杂交选育出的中熟葡萄新品种.该品种平均单穗质量716 g,平均单粒质量9.1g,果粒形状为长圆形,果皮紫红色,可溶性固形物含量17.9%,总酸含量0.30%,果肉硬脆,品质上等.每果粒含种子2~3粒.在甘肃兰州地区露地8月下旬成熟,植株生长势较强,成花容易,具有较强的抗性和适宜性,易于管理.
A new table grape cultivar ‘Meihong’
‘Meihong’ is a new mid-maturing grape cultivar selected from the crossing of ‘Red Globe’ × ‘6-12’in 2004.It was initially selected in 2008 for its good appearance,good quality and strong adaptability.Through artificial crossing technology,1 500 seeds were got in 2004.After regional adaptability testing in different sites (including the middle,the northwest,the southeast part of Gansu province respectively),it was finally selected.We applied for the registration as a new cultivar and got identification certificate from Crop Variety Approval Committee of Gansu Province in 2015.This V.vinifera cultivar is a diploid plant.The young shoot tip is opened while the color is yellow-green with purple reddish.The woody shoots have a red-brown skin and stripes,its tendrils are interval.Young leaves have a light red-violet color and without downy hairs.The shape of mature leaf is cordate,the surface of leaf is flat and smooth with green color,the number of lobes is 5.Leaf margin is serrate with both sides convex and the petiole is U-shaped.The fruit cluster is conical shape,and the average weight is about 716 g with a compact size berry set,with 20 cm length and 18 cm width,respectively.The berry is of red-violent color and expresses a long round shape,average weight is 9.1 g,the largest weight is 10.3 g.The longitudinal diameter and transverse diameter is 2.8 cm and 2.4 cm,respectively.The berries are with crisp pericarp,crisp flesh,middle juice and pleasant sweetness and sourness.The content of soluble solids,total sugar,total acid and vitamin C are 17.9%,13.8%,0.30% and 1.7%,respectively.Each berry has 2-3 seeds.In general,the quality is excellent.‘Meihong’ from bud breaking to harvest time is about 123 d,its maturity date at late August in Lanzhou area.Plant growth potential is stronger,the proportion of germination rate and branches fruiting rate are 88.0% and 79.0% respectively.Its average cluster number per shoot is 1.5.The average length of shoot internodes is 13.8 cm.It is easy to develop flower clusters on shoots and the first inflorescence generally borne in section 3-5.It has an early fruiting character and a good yielding ability.The variety has good adaptability to environment and good disease resistance.Plant cold resistance is strong.The fruit cluster grown in trees for a long time,at the same time,tolerating store and transportation.‘ Meihong’ has a wide adaptability,it can be introduced and cultivated in the northwest,North area of China.The new cultivar has some good characteristics of early fruit,high yield and stable yield.It can bear fruits 2 years after planted and the yield will be controlled 20 562-26 538 kg·hm-2 in 3 years.In open field cultivation,vertical trellis systems and pergola systems can be used appropriately.According to the different choose,the spacing in the rows and spacing between rows are 1-2 m × 3 m under vertical trellis systems cultivation,and 1-2 m × 4-5 m under pergola systems cultivation.Orchard should increase the organic fertilizer,and use chemical fertilizer reasonably at the period of fruit expansion.During the different period,strengthen the soil moisture and irrigation to meet the needs of the tree.The main measures to improve the quality of fruit is to prune of the l cluster and to use the bagging technology improved the appearance of fruits,it is also necessary to choose reasonable fruit load to control tree size,maintain tree vigor and then improve the quality.Meanwhile,downy mildew,powdery mildew,red spider,Lycorma delicatula are main plant diseases and insect in the orchard,so it must be combined with the physical and chemical control technology in orchard.
