A Study on Introduction Experiment of Atriplex Canescens in High Attitude Areas of Middle Areas of Gansu
In 2013,an experiment on introduction and forestation is conducted to choose good and suitable shrub species required for wind-break and sand-fixation and saline-alkali soil improvement in Linxia region of middle areas of Gansu. The introduction viability is compared with the native tree species to measure phenological phase and biomasses of Atriplex Canescens in the introduction areas.Forestation seedlings of introduction Atriplex Canescens enter germination stage from April 8th,leaf expansion stage from April 20th to 28th,fist-flowering dates on May 18th,last-flowering dates on June 15th,vegetative growth peak stage from June 20th,and dormant period from the middle of October. The biomasses of roots, branches and leaves of current forestation seedlings of introduction Atriplex Canescens are respectively 56.54 g,251.90 g and 177.14 g.The biggest individual biomasses is 758.2 g.The result indicates that introduction Atriplex Canescens has a stronger adaption compared with native tree species, and shows a higher introduction viability and bigger seedling growth, which is proper to be popularized and applied in Linxia region of middle areas of Gansu.
