The level of logistics development has an important impact on the development of international trade.Taking the logistics performance index as the pointcut,based on the statistical data from 2014-2021,the logistics performance level of Central Asian and West Asian countries is empirically analyzed through the extended trade gravity model,and the trade potential of countries in different regions is measured.The results show that the level of logistics performance significantly affects China's export trade with Central Asian and West Asian countries,and the impact of improved logistics performance on China's trade is grea-ter in the low-and middle-income group countries than in the high-income group countries.There are some differences in the impact of logistics performance and sub-indicators on China's export trade potential in dif-ferent regions,and on the whole the trade potential of Central Asian countries is greater than that of West Asian countries.Finally,based on the empirical results,Reasonable strategies and suggestions are put for-ward to improve the logistics level of Central and West Asian countries in order to fully realize the poten-tial of bilateral trade.
