Role of MYC transcription factors in plant stress response
In the process of plant growth and development, plants are often affected by abiotic stresses such as low temperature, drought, salt, and biological stresses such as pests and diseases, and plants have a series of metabolic pathways to cope with these stresses. Many studies have shown that in the face of stress,MYC transcription factor family of bHLH transcription factor superfamily participates in various stress responses and plays an important role in plant growth and development. The structure and function of MYC transcription factor family and its role in plant stress response in recent years are described, aiming to provide theoretical basis and practical reference for the subsequent research on its response to plant stress resistance.
