Research progress on the separation,purification and hypoglycemic activity of peptide
Diabetes is a kind of metabolic disease caused by the lack of insulin and high blood glucose level.Peptide,as a bioactive substance,can participate in complex physiological reactions in organisms and regulate cellular functional activities.Peptide has the advantages of abundant reserves,hypotoxicity,low molecular weight,clear target and easily absorption,which can be used as a new hypoglycemic drug for development and utilization.The techniques for separation and purification of peptide(including membrane separation,chromatography,electrophoresis,etc.)were summarized.In addition,the research on hypoglycemic activity of peptide was also introduced to provide references for the development of new hypoglycemic drug.
