Research on spatial structure and driving factors of county economy in Hunan Province based on social network analysis
Taking 2009,2015 and 2021 these years as time sections,based on the modified gravity model and social network theory,combined with technical means such as Ucinet6,the spatial structure and influencing factors of economic connections among counties in Hunan Province are analyzed from aspects such as network centrality and cohesive subgroups.The results show that the network connection strength of counties in Hunan Province is centered around Chang-Zhu-Tan(Changsha,Zhuzhou and Xiangtan),showing a situation where the network connection strength in the east is higher than that in the west,and the network connection strength in the north is higher than that in the south,the gap between the east and west is relatively large.The cohesive subgroup is mainly focused on the eastern Hunan region,west Hunan region has developed relatively slowly.With the passage of time,the phenomenon of spatial fragmentation in each region has eased,and Chang-Zhu-tan remains the core area of industrial agglomeration,with strong urban polarization effects on surrounding areas.Policy incentives and transportation accessibility have greatly improved the total and intensity of economic connections between counties.
