Research on the Construction of Network Dispute Governance Mechanism in the Metaverse Era
As the"internet human society"with virtual reality interaction,the meta universe has spawned a new type of network dispute characterized by"virtual reality interaction".The traditional dispute resolution method that relies on the coercive power of sovereign states as a guarantee,as well as the existing dispute prevention measures formed by technologies such as smart contracts,temporary protection measures,and platform arbitration on the metaverse platform,feel helpless in the face of network disputes in the metaverse era characterized by virtual and real interaction,making it difficult to achieve effective resolution of disputes.The handling of network disputes in the era of the metaverse should move from"resolution"to"governance",that is,on the basis of fully understand-ing and respecting the underlying logic of communication in the metaverse community,promote the gradual forma-tion of the autonomous order of the metaverse community,further clarify and refine the boundary responsibilities of the metaverse platform in community governance and dispute resolution,and gradually promote the formation of the network dispute governance mechanism in the era of the metaverse.Based on the above ideas and combined with the possible development scenarios of the metaverse in the future,an evaluation index system for the dispute gov-ernance mechanism of the metaverse platform is proposed.This provides objective evaluation standards for the gov-ernment to monitor the status and characteristics of dispute resolution within the metaverse platform,scientifically and comprehensively evaluate the operation of the metaverse platform,and helps to promote the formation of the in-ternal governance system of the metaverse platform,safeguarding the long-term development of the metaverse in-dustry.
