Current Situation and Countermeasures of Olive Industry in Wudu District of Longnan City
Since the introduction of olive in Wudu District in 1975,until 2024 the planting area has dramaticauy reached 42 386.67 hm2.The olive base area,fresh fruit output,virgin olive oil output and economic benefits all rank first place in China.Under the guidance of the trend of"Great Health",the prospects of Longnan olive industry is promising and the future is positively expected.But because of some practical factors,such as limited olive suitable area,uncertain industry development,discontinuous research work,scarce professional human resource etc.Which cause some problems in seedling,planting,production of olive industry.Therefore,we should improve through these sections as follows:the breeding rate,low yield transformation,science and technology,developing local sales channels to boost the olive industry in Wudou.
