Spatial and Temporal Variation of Fractional Vegetation Coverage in Xinglongshan Area of Gansu Province
In order to deeply explore the rule of vegetation evolution in Xinglongshan area and guide the rational development and protection of vegetation resources in this area,we selected the remote sensing image data of vegetation coverage changes in Xinglongshan area from 1980 to 2020 to analyzed the spatial and temporal variation of vegetation coverage in this area. The results showed that the vegetation coverage of Xinglongshan developed positively from 1980 to 2020,and the temporal and spatial changes were obvious. In terms of time change, the fractional vegetation coverage in this area showed an upward trend. The high vegetation cover area and the medium-high vegetation cover area gradually developed from the low vegetation cover area, and the area increased gradually from 55.78 km2 and 54.90 km2 in 1980 to 141.33 km2 and 87.81 km2 in 2020,respectively.In terms of spatial change, the high vegetation cover area is mainly distributed in the northeast of Xinglongshan area, and the low vegetation cover area is mainly distributed in the southwest. After closing mountains to cultivate forests and protecting forest and grass resources, good results have been achieved in vegetation restoration in Xinglongshan area.
