The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that adhering to socialism with Chinese characteristics and achieving high-quality development is the essential requirement of Chinese-style modernization.The development of rural collective economy is an important cornerstone and the greatest feature of building Chinese-style agricultural modernization.This paper discusses the evolution history,national policies,and reform measures of the rural collective economy,analyzes the important role of the new rural economy in promoting the modernization of Chinese agriculture,and puts forward measures to promote the high-quality development of the new rural collective economy.
