An empirical study on digital inclusive finance to enhance the digitization level of agriculture
Based on the panel data of 31 provinces(municipalities directly under the Central Government and autonomous regions)in China from 2014 to 2020,and on the basis of using entropy weight method to measure the level of agricultural digitalization,a fixed-effect model was constructed to empirically test the impact of digital financial inclusion on the level of agricultural digitalization. The benchmark regression results show that digital financial inclusion can promote the digitalization level of agriculture.Heterogeneity analysis shows that the breadth of digital finance coverage has the greatest effect on the promotion of agricultural digitalization, while the depth of digital finance use and the degree of digitalization of inclusive finance have limited effect on agricultural digitalization.Based on the results of empirical analysis, the paper puts forward some suggestions to accelerate the development of digital inclusive finance, pay attention to the financial literacy training of farmers, and strengthen the construction of digital infrastructure.
