The impact of rural residents'income on tourism consumption——Empirical analysis based on CFPS data
With the improvement of rural residents'income level and the promotion of rural revitalization strategy,rural residents are expected to become the main force of tourism consumption in the future.Therefore,it is particularly important to study the influencing factors of rural residents'tourism consumption decisions.This study uses the 2018 CFPS survey data and combines binary and multiple linear regression models to empirically analyze the relationship between rural residents'income and tourism consumption.Research has found that income is a key factor affecting rural residents'tourism decisions.In addition,the gender of the head of household and job satisfaction also have a significant impact on the tourism consumption decisions of rural residents.In contrast,the influence of factors such as marriage and employment status is not significant.When further analyzing the factors that affect rural residents'tourism consumption expenditure,it was found that income,job satisfaction,education level,and geographical location all significantly affect rural residents'tourism consumption expenditure.
