Study on Comprehensive Recovery Process of Cu,Co and S from Tailings of Iron Separation and Semi-Industrial Commissioning
The secondary resource utilization of tailings is of great significance for relieving resource shortage and sustain-able development of mining industry. The tailings of an iron beneficiation in Peru contain a large amount of Cu,Co,S and other valuable elements, and its metal minerals are deeply activated by dissolution alteration under the condition of ion-rich medium in seawater and a large number of flotation agents during desulphurization and zinc reduction of iron concentrate in upstream beneficiation plant,so it is difficult to separate and recover.Through the study of the ore properties, the process of stage grinding, mixed flotation and separation of copper and sulfur cobalt was adopted, and semi-industrial commissio-ning was carried out on the basis of small laboratory tests, and a good comprehensive recovery effect of Cu,Co and S was obtained.
