After copper slag was reduced into metallized pellets by coal-based hydrogen metallurgy rotary kiln, the melting test was carried out under three conditions:direct return of raw material, grinding of iron concentrate powder and forming of iron concentrate powder into pellets.Compared with the results of three melting tests,it is found that the metallized pellets reduced by coal-based hydrogen metallurgy rotary kiln are crushed, pulverized and magnetically separated into iron fine powder and then cold pressed to form balls for remelting. The strength and particle size of the cold pressed balls are suitable for the requirements of melting furnace, which greatly reduces the amount of slag and can be melted continuously, thus im-proving the efficiency of melting.
