The copper and cadmium slag produced in the process of zinc hydrometallurgy purification contains 39.32%Zn,12.82%Cu and 9.48%Cd,which has high comprehensive recovery value. At present,Cu and Cd are recovered by primary sulfuric acid leaching and zinc powder replacement, but the processing capacity of this process is small, the grade of crude copper produced by replacement is low,and the leaching process conditions are difficult to control.Through the three-stage continuous leaching method, the continuous leaching experiments were carried out under the conditions that the ratio of cop-per and cadmium slag to electrolytic waste liquid and concentrated sulfuric acid liquid was 4∶1,the flow rate was 15 L/min,the leaching temperature was 80~85℃,the leaching time was 3.0 h,and the initial pH value was 1.0~1.5.The leaching rates of Zn and Cd reached 90%and 88%,respectively.The leaching residue contains 75%Cu,0.6%Cd and 3.5%Zn,and the enrichment effect of copper is obvious. It is of great significance to realize source emission reduction and reduce secondary pollution of toxic metal cadmium.
