After the zinc scum sample was completely dissolved by hydrochloric acid,nitric acid,hydrofluoric acid and perchloric acid,it was cooled and 5 mL hydrochloric acid was added to dissolve salts until the solution was clear.The standard curve was drawn by matrix matching method to avoid matrix interference.A chemical method for the determination of Cd,As,Sb and Bi in zinc dross samples by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry(ICP-AES)was established.Under certain experimental conditions,Cd 226.5 nm,As 189.0 nm,Sb 231.1 nm and Bi 190.1 nm were se-lected as analytical spectral lines,and the correlation coefficients of calibration curves for each element were greater than 0.999.The results showed that the relative standard deviations(RSD,n=8)were less than 2%,and the recoveries ranged from 97.4%to 103.2%.ICP-AES method is simple,accurate and reliable,and can meet the requirements of accurate de-termination of various elements in zinc dross.
