In view of the problem that the discharge of some heavy metals in the acid wastewater of a lead-zinc smelting en-terprise in Northwest China could not fully meet the standards and the thallium content index was difficult to meet the water pollutant discharge control limit in modification list of the"Lead and Zinc Industrial Pollutant Discharge Standard"(GB 25466-2010),the traditional sulfuration-neutralization precipitation method combined with new biological agents was used to test the sewage acid wastewater of the sewage station. The test results showed that after two stages of test treatment, the Cd,Zn and As in the sewage acid wastewater were reduced to less than 0.01 mg/L,and Tl was reduced to less than 0.005 mg/L,which met the requirements of the"Lead and Zinc Industrial Pollutant Discharge Standard"(GB 25466-2010)and the revised single water pollutant discharge limit.
