Two types of austenitic stainless steels,347H and 321H,were subjected to solid solution treatment. The micro-structure,distribution of second phase precipitates, macroscopic metallographic morphology, and mechanical properties of the materials were tested using scanning electron microscopy, metallographic microscopy, and universal tensile testing ma-chines. The experimental results show that after solid solution of 347H and 321H,a second phase precipitate was found in their matrix. The 321H second phase precipitate is significantly more aggregated than the 347H precipitate and has a larger geometric size;In the macroscopic metallographic structure, there is a phenomenon of"mixed crystal" in both materials af-ter solid solution treatment, where the fine grain structure and coarse grain structure are layered after 347H solid solution treatment; In terms of mechanical properties, samples with different thickness specifications were tested, and 347H steel showed better yield strength and tensile strength, while 321H steel showed excellent stability in terms of elongation.
