Effect of Invigorating-spleen Benefiting-kidney Decoction on Renal Function and Intestinal Flora of Patients with Stage Ⅳ Chronic Kidney Disease
Objective:To study the effects of invigorating-spleen benefiting-kidney decoction on renal function and intestinal flora of patients with stage Ⅳ chronic kidney disease(CKD),and explore the connection between the mechanism of delaying the progression of renal function with intestinal flora.Methods:Sixty CKD Patients at stage Ⅳ were divided into the treatment gorup and the control group with 30 cases in each group.The control group adopted basic therapy,and the treatment group took invigorating-spleen benefiting-kidney decoction on the foundation of basic therapy,to observe main symptom scores,BUU,SCr and the changes of intestinal flora in two groups before and after the treatment.Results:Clinical effects of the treatment group were better than these of the control group after the treatment,and the improvements of symptoms of the treatment group were better than these of the control group after the treatment and these before the treatment(P<0.05);the levels of SCr and BUN of the treatment group were lower than these of the control group after the treatment and these before the treatment(P<0.05);intestinal flora total anaerobes,lactobacilli,bifidobacteria colony counts of the treatment group increased than these of the control group and these before the treatment(P<0.05),E.coli counts reduced than these of the control group and these before the treatment(P<0.01).Conclusion:Invigorating-spleen benefiting-kidney decoction could improve clinical symptoms,protect renal function and delay the renal function progression by regulating intestinal flora of patients with stage Ⅳ CKD.
