Objective:To observe the influence of benefiting-Qi nourishing-Yin prescription on the expressions of immunoinflammatory factor,thoracic aortic intima-media thickness in atherosclerosis rats before and after the treatment.Methods:Ten rats were randomly selected as the blank group among 46 four-week SPF grade Wistar male rats,and they accepted basic feed,the remaining 36 ones were prepared into atherosclerosis rats by aortic endothelial balloon straining and high-fat feed.30 rats after successfully modeling were randomized into the model group,benefiting-Qi nourishing-Yin prescription group(Chinese medicine group)and rosuvastatin group(Western medicine group),ten rats in each group.The blank group was fed with basic feeds,Chinese medicine group took benefiting-Qi nourishing-Yin prescription and Western medicine group rosuvastatin calcium tablets.After six weeks of administration,thoracic aorta was cut to retain atherosclerotic plaque as the samples,to detect the levels of hs-CRP,TGF-β1,IL-8 and MMP-9,thoracic aortic intima-media thickness and pathological changes.Results:SNK method was used to compare two groups,compared with the model group,the levels of hs-CRP,TGF-β1,IL-8 and MMP-9 were lowered obviously in Chinese medicine group and Western medicine group(P＜0.05),the difference had statistical meaning in thoracic aortic intima-media thickness(P＜0.05).Chinese medicine group was better than the model group in the aspects of repair of cellular structures in various layers of rat thoracic and abdominal aorta,and the pathological changes were relieved obviously.Conclusion:Benefiting-Qi nourishing-Yin herbs could markedly improve the expressions of hs-CRP,TGF-β1,IL-8 and MMP-9,thoracic aortic intima-media thickness before and after the treatment in atherosclerosis rats,and it could offer a research direction for clinical intervention of atherosclerosis.
