Objective:To find out the characteristics of pulse graph of chronic insomnia related to fire-heat syndrome by analyzing and comparing pulse graph models and parameters of the patients with chronic insomnia related to fire-heat syndromes and normal population.Methods:The information of pulse diagnosis of 16 chronic insomnia patients with fire-heat related syndrome and 20 healthy subjects were collected and analyzed by the high-precision intelligent manipulator pulse information collection and analysis system.Results:The difference in the information of pulse diagnosis was obvious between both groups,the correct discrimination rate of the classifica-tion decision results of parameter fitting reached 97%;among 193 parameters,there were 19 ones participating in the classification,including five pulse position parameters,four time domaine parameters and ten frequency domain parameters;in terms of the contribution of six pulsogram parameters of both hands,right Guan pulse contributed the maximum,right Chi pulse was the next,left Guan pulse contributed the minimum.Conclusion:Parameters of pulse graph could distinguish chronic insomnia patients with fire-heat related syndromes from the normal population,sinking of left Guan,left Guan and left Chi,sinking of right Guan and Chi and sinking the most of right Chi are one of the important signs of chronic insomnia related to fire-heat syndrome.Pulse diagnosis with pulse diagnosis instrument,objective and reliable with high specificity could provide objective reference for TCM syndrome differentiation of chronic insomnia from the perspective of TCM pulse.
