Objective:To observe clinical effects of the treatment of spleen deficiency and Qi stagnation type functional dyspepsia(FD)by Xinkai kujiang prescription(pungent herbs to open,bitter ones to downbear in the prescription).Methods:Seventy patients with FD of spleen deficiency and Qi stagnation pattern were randomized into the observation group(35 cases in the group of Xinkai kujiang prescription,one case dropped out)and the control group(35 cases in the group of invigorating spleen and regulating Qi,two cases dropped out).The observa-tion group was treated by Xinkai kujiang prescription,and the control group by the method of invigorating spleen and regulating Qi,the course of the treatment was four weeks.To observe clinical effects of syndromes,total scores of HAMA,single syndrome integrals and eigenvalue of tongue diagnosis between both groups.Results:Total effective rate of the syndromes in the observation group was[78.79%(26/33)],higher than[55.88%(19/34)]of the control group(P＜0.05).Total effective rate of HAMD in the observation group was[72.73%(24/33)],higher than[50.00%(17/34)]of the control group(P＜0.05).The observation group was greater than the control group in the scores of the symptoms including epigastric distention and fullness,poor appetite,long sighing,irritability,and the difference had statistical meaning(P＜0.05).The observation group was higher than the control group in the eigenvalues of tongue coating(P＜0.01).Conclusion:Xinkai kujiang prescription could effectively relieve clinical symptoms,alleviate anxiety,increase eigenvalues of tongue coating.
