Distribution of TCM Patterns of Portal Hypertension Gastropathy and Its Correlation with Mucosal Lesions under Gastroscope
Objective:To clarify the distribution characteristics of TCM patterns of portal hypertension gastropathy(PHG),and its correlation with mucosal lesions under the gastroscope. Methods:Adopting clinical survey, the data, including TCM patterns of 180 PHG patients and the characteristics of gastric mucosal lesions that met the standard, were statistically analyzed to confirm their relationship. Results:TCM patterns of PHG patients are damp-heat accumulation, blood stasis obstructing the collaterals;gastric mucosal lesions, congestion, edema and petechia are frequently seen in patients of damp-heat accumulation pattern, severe patients are mostly suffering blood stasis obstructing the collaterals;the difference had statistical meaning in the incidence of esophageal varices when liver Qi stagnation, blood stasis obstructing the collaterals and Yin deficiency of liver and kidney were compared with water-dampness internal obstruction and Yang deficiency of spleen and kidney(P<0.05).Conclusion:TCM patterns of PHG are related to gastric mucosal lesions,dampness-heat and blood stasis are its main pathological factors.
