Objective:To explore the formula-syndrome relationship in the treatment of vomiting by Wuzhuyu Tang.Methods:All 100 cases of clinical application of the formula in the treatment of vomiting were retrieved from China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),and the information of symptoms(body signs),therapeutic methods and drugs in the cases were standardized to establish the database.The data mining method was applied to analyze the frequency,support,confidence,and enhancement of symptoms(body signs),drugs,and remedies in the medical cases,and to analyze the association relationship.Results:The collected 100 medical cases involved 166 symptoms(signs)with the frequencies of 1432 times,among which 19 symptoms(signs)with high frequency appeared with vomiting as the first one;75 medicines with the frequencies of 671 times,among which 13 medicines with high frequency appeared with Wuzhuyu(Euodiae fructus)as the first one;a total of 37 therapeutic methods were involved with a frequency of 385,among which seven therapeutic methods appeared more frequently with"lowering the adverse flow of Qi"as the first one.A total of 16 symptom(sign)association rules with elevation≥1.3 and six drug association rules with elevation≥1.2 were involved,all of which had an obvious tendency to be coregulated.Conclusion:The data mining method of association rules can be used to better discover the association rules between symptoms,drug formulae and therapeutic methods of vomiting,and Wuzhuyu Tang and its modified formulas,which can provide a basis for clinical application of the prescription and the drugs.
