Analysis of the Preventive Effect of the Combination of Du-moxibustion and Zhuqi Jiema Tang on the Complications of Implantable Infusion Port in Tumor Patients
Objective:To investigate the preventive effects of Du-moxibustion joined with Zhuqi Jiema Tang on the complications of infusion port in tumor patients of Qi deficiency and blood stasis pattern. Methods:One hundred patients with malignant tumors undergoing chemotherapy were divided into 50 cases each in the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method.Totally implantable access port(TIAP)was performed by the same physician in both groups.Routine nursing measures were carried out in the control group on the first postoperative day,and the observation group was given the intervention of Du-moxibustion combined with Zhuqi Jiema Tang on the basis of the control group. The course of treatment for both groups was two weeks. To compare the occurrence of phlebitis, tube infection and the main symptom score of Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome between the two groups. Results:The incidence of phlebitis in the observation group was 4.00%(2/50),lower than 20.00%(10/50)in the control group(P<0.05);the total incidence of catheter tip ectasia, catheter leakage, catheter occlusion and infection in the observation group was 8.00%(4/50),lower than 26.00%(13/50)in the control group(P<0.05);the main symptom scores of the syndrome of Qi deficiency and blood stasis were reduced in both groups after treatment(P<0.01),and the reduction was better than that of the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:On the basis of Western medicine routine nursing for patients with tumors undergoing TIAP,Du-moxibustion combined with the decoction can reduce the incidence of phlebitis, prevent catheter infection, and improve the syndromes.
