Observation on Clinical Efficacy of Liuyu Tang in the Treatment of Reflux Esophagitis
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Liuyu Tang in the treatment of reflux esophagitis(RE).Methods:Two hundred patients with RE were selected and divided into two groups of 100 cases each according to different treatment plans.The observation group was treated with Liuyu Tang combined with omeprazole;the control group was treated with omeprazole,and both groups were treated continuously for eight weeks.To observe the clinical efficacy,the occurrence of side effects and the changes of gastrin(GAS),interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and motilin(MTL)before and after treatment in both groups.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was[87.0%(87/100)],higher than[59.0%(59/100)]of the control group(P<0.05);compared with the pre-treatment period,the levels of IL-6,TNF-α,and GAS were reduced and the level of MTL was elevated in the two groups after treatment(P<0.05),and the magnitude of the above indexes decreasing or elevating in the observation group was greater than that in the control group after treatment(P<0.05).When comparing the incidences of drug side effects between the two groups,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of gastroesophageal reflux with Liuyu Tang can significantly improve the clinical efficacy,reduce the serum inflammatory indexes,and increase the level of motilin without increasing the adverse reactions.
