The Influence of Internet-based Continuity of Care Intervention on Mild Cognitive Dysfunction in Elderly Patients with Cerebral Small Vessel Disease with OSAHS
Objective:To investigate the effect of Internet-based continuity of care intervention on the improvement of cognitive dysfunction in elderly patients with cerebral small vessel disease with obstructive sleep apnea/hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS).Methods:Eighty-eight cases of elderly patients with cerebral small vessel disease with OSAHS cognitive dysfunction were screened and divided into treatment and control groups according to the randomized numerical table method, with 44 cases in each group. Both groups adopted the interventions related to cerebral small vessel disease and OSAHS,the control group was given conventional nursing care, and the treatment group used the internet-based continuity of TCM nursing intervention model on the basis of the control group,in the transition period of hospital discharge. Both groups were intervened for 12 weeks. The two groups were compared in terms of mental state examination(MMSE),Montreal cognitive assessment scale(MoCA),delayed recall scale(DVR)and Barthel index(BI).(Barthel index,BI)and clinical outcomes. Results:After treatment,MMSE,MoCA,DVR score and BI increased significantly in both groups, and the increase was more obvious in the treatment group(P<0.01).The total effective rate of the treatment group[86.36%(38/44)]was significantly higher than that of the control group[65.91%(29/44)](P<0.05).Conclusion:On the basis of conventional Western medicine treatment measures, the application of Internet-based continuity of Chinese medicine nursing intervention for elderly patients with cerebral small vessel disease and OSAHS could help to reduce patients'cognitive dysfunction, improve their quality of life, and enhance clinical efficacy.
