Objective:To survey the effects of TCM emotional nursing on osteoporotic thoracolumbar fractures in the perioperative period. Methods:Sixty patients were allocated to the control group and the observation group using random number table method with 30 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional perioperative care, and the observation group TCM emotional nursing on the foundation of the therapy the control group accepted. To compare the perioperative indicators,VAS scores,ODI,negative emotion, quality of life and nursing satisfaction between both groups. Results:The observation group was shorter than the control group in surgical time(P<0.05),less than the control group in intraoperative blood loss(P<0.05);the difference had no statistical meaning in VAS scores and ODI scores between both groups(P>0.05).HAMD and HAMA of the observation group were lower than these of the control group after the surgery(P<0.05).The scores of quality of life and nursing satisfaction of the observation group were higher than these of the control group after the operation(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of TCM emotional nursing in patients suffering osteoporotic thoracolumbar fractures in the perioperative period could shorten surgical time, reduce intraoperative blood loss, relieve negative emotion, and improve quality of life and nursing satisfaction.
