Objective:To observe the impacts of spleen-invigorating phlegm-resolving blood-activating decoction on thyroid function in patients with hypothyroidism and curative effects.Methods:A total of 61 patients were chosen as the research objects,and divided into the control group(n=30 cases)and the observation group(n=31 cases)using random number table method.The control group was treated with levothyroxine sodium tablets,and the observation group took spleen-invigorating phlegm-resolving blood-activating decoction orally based on the therapy of the control group,both groups were treated for 12 weeks.To compare curative effects of the two groups,to compare symptom scores,the scores of quality of life,the indexes of thyroid function and lipid meta-bolism before and after treatment in both groups.Results:After treatment,total effective rate of the observation group was 93.55%(28/31),higher than 73.33%(22/30)of the control group(P<0.05).After the treatment,symptom scores of both groups reduced obviously in the two groups(P<0.05),and the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05);the scores of quality of life increased evidently in the two groups(P<0.05),and the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of trigly-cerides,total cholesterol,LDL-C,thyroid stimulating hormone,antithyroglobulin antibodies,and thyroid pero-xidase antibodies lowered in the two groups(P<0.05),and the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05);the levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,free triiodothyronine,and free thyroxine increased in both groups(P<0.05),and the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Spleen-invigorating phlegm-resolving blood-activating decoction in the treatment of patients with hypothyroidism could effectively relieve clinical symptoms,improve the levels of thyroid function,and lipid metabolism,as well as the patients'quality of life.
