Objective:To analyze the medication rules of the prescriptions for internal ophthalmology in ancient classics of ophthalmology.Methods:The prescriptions for the treatment of internal ophthalmology were screened from seven ancient classics of TCM ophthalmology to establish the database,which was imported into traditional Chinese medicine inheritance computing platform(V3.0),the methods of data mining such as the statistical analysis of the frequency,the distribution of four natures and five flavors,the analysis of the medication rule based on association rules and cluster analysis were applied to explore the medication rules of the prescrip-tions and the experience of differentiating and treating the disease in the ancient books.Results:The study has gathered 322 prescriptions,involving 187 herbs with total frequency 2867 times,22 single herbs with the frequency of greater than 40 times,the herbs contained the ones of tonifying,clearing heat,relieving the exterior mainly,mostly belonging to sweet,bitter and pungent the next,entering the meridian of liver,mostly the cold-nature,warm-nature drugs the next,48 core drug combinations were obtained by statistical analysis,and seven core prescriptions were gained through cluster analysis.Conclusion:The study has fully unearthed the medication rules of the prescription for the treatment of internal ophthalmology in the ancient classics of TCM ophthalmology,which provides reference value for the clinical application of the medicine in the future.
