Effects of Zhu's Nourishing-spleen Consolidating-kidney Prescription No.1 on the Scores of Spleen-kidney Qi Deficiency Pattern,SCr and BUN in Stage 2 to 4 Chronic Kidney Disease
Objective:To discuss curative effects of Zhu's nourishing-spleen consolidating-kidney prescrip-tion no.1 in the treatment of stage 2 to 4 chronic kidney disease(CKD)of spleen-kidney Qi deficiency pattern and its influence on symptom scores,SCr and blood urea nitrogen(BUN).Methods:Sixty patients with stage 2 to 4 CKD were chosen, and divded into the observation group and the control group with 30 cases in each. The control group adopted conventional therapy of Western medicine, and the observation group was treated with Zhu's nourishing-spleen consolidating-kidney prescription no.1 on the foundation of the therapy that the control group accepted, both groups were treated for 12 weeks continuously, and the subsequent therapies were conducted in the specialist clinics and the patients were followed up.To compare clinical effects, symptom scores, the scores of quality of life, the levels of renal function indexes including SCr and BUN,and the incidences of adverse reaction between both groups. Results:Total effective rate of the observation group was[86.67% (26/30)],higher than[60.00% (18/30)]of the control group(P<0.05).After the treatment, symptom scores, and the levels of SCr and BUN were lowered than these before the treatment in the two groups(P<0.05),and the scores of quality of life were elevated(P<0.05),and the decrease or the increase in the above indexes of the observation group was more significant than that of the control group(P<0.05).The difference had no statistical meaning in the incidences of the adverse reaction between both groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Zhu's nourishing-spleen consolidating-kidney prescription no.1 could obtain noticeable effects in the treatment of stage 2 to 4 CKD,and it could improve the patients'renal function and quality of life.
