Objective:To observe the curative effects of"three modulation acupuncture"in the treatment of neurogenic bladder after spinal cord injury. Methods:Sixty patients were chosen and randomized into the control group and the observation group with 30 cases in each group. The control group adopted conventional therapy including intermittent sterile catheterization, and training assisted urination, the observation group was treated with"three modulation acupuncture"based on the therapy that the control group received,to compare urodynamics and residual urine output before and after the treatment, and clinical effects between both groups. Results:After the treatment, urodynamic indexes improved noticeably in both groups(P<0.05),the improvement of the observation group was more remarkable than that of the control group(P<0.05).After the treatment, residual urine output decreased than before treating(P<0.05);the decrease of the observation group was more remarkable(P<0.05).Total effective rate of the observation group was[100.00% (30/30)],higher than[83.33% (25/30)]of the control group(P<0.05).Conclu-sion:"Three modulation acupuncture"in the treatment of neurogenic bladder(NB)after spinal cord injury(SCI)could improve urodynamics, restore urinary function and raise the therapeutic effects.
