Objective:To investigate TCM and the Tibetan medicine use and the satisfaction among the residents of Qinghai Province and its influencing factors.Methods:The TCM and Tibetan medicine use and the satisfaction among the residents of Qinghai Province were surveyed using household questionnaire method.Results:In the last five years,11.8%(94/797)of the population of Qinghai Province used TCM and Tibetan medicine most,and 25.0%(199/797)used TCM and Tibetan medicine more;the ordered logitic regression analysis of the level of use showed that education,income,region and the familiarity with TCM and Tibetan medicine were the factors influencing the use of TCM and Tibetan medicine among the residents of Qinghai Province(P<0.05);23.5%(175/745)of population of Qinghai Province were very satisfied with TCM and Tibetan medicine,41.9%(312/745)were more satisfied,the overall satisfaction reached 65.4%(487/745);binary logistic regression analysis of satisfaction revealed that household registration,region and the the familiarity with TCM were the factors influencing satisfaction(P<0.05).Conclusion:We should improve the dissemination of TCM and Tibetan medicine knowledge and the experience among the residents in order to increase the use of TCM and Tibetan medicine and the satisfaction of the residents because of the low use of TCM and Tibetan medicine among the residents and low overall satisfaction.
