Objective:To investigate the effect of preoperative moxibustion combined with postoperative acupoint massage on gastrointestinal function in patients after gastric cancer surgery.Methods:A total of 66 patients undergoing radical gastroectomy for gastric cancer were selected and divided into the treatment group and the control group according to random number table method with 33 patients in each group.The two groups adopted basic therapy after the operation,and underwent enteral nutrition intervention on the second day to the ninth day after the operation,the treatment group performed preoperative moxibustion combined with postopera-tive acupoint massage.To compare gastrointestinal function recovery time,gastrointestinal function score and gastrointestinal function recovery effect in the two groups after seven days of intervention consecutively.Results:The treatment group was shorter than the control group in the time of first exhaust and defecation,the recovery of bowel sound and nasojejunal feeding tube feeding time(P<0.01);after seven days of intervention,gastrointestinal function scores decreased in the two groups(P<0.01),the decrease of the treatment group was more noticeable(P<0.01);the effective rate of the treatment group was 97.0%(32/33),higher than 75.8%(25/33)of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Preoperative moxibustion and postoperative acupoint massage could effectively improve gastrointestinal function in patients after gastric cancer surgery.
