Rehabilitation Treatment of Progressive Scoliosis after Surgery for Pilocytic Astrocytoma:Case Report
Objective:To observe the rehabilitation efficacy of a case of postoperative pilocytic astrocytoma(PA)combined with progressive scoliosis.Methods:In a case of postoperative pilocytic astrocytoma and progres-sive scoliosis,comprehensive rehabilitation treatment was performed for motor dysfunction,muscle strength disorder,sensory disorder and scoliosis.Results:After 12 months of comprehensive rehabilitation,the patient's motor function,sensory function,self-care ability and walking function were effectively improved,but the Cobb angle increased from 13° to 41°.Conclusion:Early and active intervention of comprehensive rehabilitation therapy can promote the recovery of limb motor function and sensory function in such patients.
