Performance and cultivation Techniques of European Plum'Hongximei'in Jinzhong,Shanxi Province
'Hongximei'is a new plum cultivar cultivated by Northwest A & F University.In 2015,it was introduced by Pomology Institute,Shanxi Agricultural University into Jinzhong,Shanxi.After years of cultivation and observation,the cul-tivar showed excellent comprehensive performance such as high quality with the soluble solids of 14.8％,late flowering,which could effectively avoid the late frost damage in this area,late maturity,maturity in late August,stable yield,good stor-age resistance.It is suitable for planting in Jinzhong area of Shanxi Province and similar ecological areas.In view of the growth characteristics of'Hongximei',the cultivation techniques are summarized for the reference of growers.
