Investigation on Causes of Short-term Dieback of Cherry Plants and Countermeasures
In the planting of cherry,the phenomenon of death often occurs in a short time.In order to rescue the diseased plants and improve the yield and quality of cherry,the roots of dead plants were excavated in three large-scale cherry planta-tions in Binzhou City for three years.The causes of death were investigated comprehensively,and the causes of death of pests and diseases such as white thread disease,chafer grubs,gum disease,and crown galls were found.The methods of scientific site selection,seedling treatment,root injection,diseased root treatment and tree scraping were used to carry out rescue treat-ment for the diseased trees,and the survival rate of the diseased plants was greatly improved.
